Care and Maintenance
Natural Stone
Quartz, Jade, and Agate are sensitive to sudden changes in temperature and humidity. Please avoid exposing them to extremely hot or rapidly fluctuating temperatures.
Please avoid collisions and chemical contact, as they can cause damage or discolouration.
Over time, they may appear dull due to oil, lotion, or environmental factors. To restore its lustre, please gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth.
Pearls, Amber, and Opal are unstable and turn yellow, losing their lustre over time. Please avoid contact with chemicals, drastic temperature changes, and dehydration to maintain their stability.
Friction between these types and hard objects can cause roughness and fine marks on their surface, so please do not clean them with hard objects such as brushes or toothbrushes. After they are dusty and sweaty, wipe them clean with a soft cloth.
They are not heat-resistant and should not be placed in sunlight or near a heater for extended periods. If the air is too dry, they may crack.
Please try to avoid contact with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, and organic solutions containing alcohol.
Imitation
Glass( and Coloured glaze) has high hardness but is relatively brittle. Collision or friction movement can cause damage. Please wear it at room temperature, as it may cause thermal expansion or contraction that can crack the glass. Please avoid contact with perfume, cosmetics and other chemicals.
Metal accessories
Metal accessories normally undergo varying degrees of discolouration or tarnishing over time. Although in our products metal accessories are used only as links and spacers and are not the main material, proper maintenance can slow wear and tear and help maintain the jewellery's overall aesthetic.
For all electroplated metals, avoiding friction and maintaining the integrity of the plating layer can extend the lifespan of the colour and lustre. If wiping is necessary, please use a soft cloth; the silver cloth (with polishing and decontamination functions) is not suitable. To extend the lifespan of the colour, please avoid contact with chemicals (such as skin care products), moisture, and harsh environments.
Brass(gold-plated) parts have undergone multi-layer electroplating with gold or silver on the surface of base-metal fittings (brass and cupronickel) and have undergone colour-retention treatment. To extend the lifespan of the colour, please avoid contact with chemicals (such as skin care products), moisture, and harsh environments.
Stainless Steel accessories - gold colour - are vacuum-plated with gold, providing enhanced resistance to oxidation, wear, and tarnishing. The colour retention is good, and the colour is not prone to fading. When conditions permit, fine polishing is applied.
Stainless steel has excellent water resistance and natural resistance to tarnishing, making it suitable for daily wear. However, we still recommend avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals and harsh environments to maintain the metallic lustre.
Sterling Silver plated with a layer of gold to enhance its antioxidant properties and beauty. Piercing parts, such as ear hooks, are prone to corrosion at the part wrapped by the skin. After wearing, we suggest using a soft cloth to remove secretions to delay oxidation and discolouration.
Other Material
To ensure the product's durability, we use steel wire and waxed thread, which are among the strongest available for similar materials.
